How To Setup Raspberry pi 3 first time with Desktop

Setup raspberry pi 3 for first with help of desktop

Components Required

1.Raspberry Pi 3
2.SD card minimum  8GB
3.HDMI Cable
4.Data cable to power up the Raspberry pi 3
5.Mouse and Keyboard

Step 1 - Preparing SD Card to install raspberry pi 3

1.Download SD card formatter from link  given "https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/".

2.Format your SD card by using downloaded SD card formatter

3.Download Noobs(Network and Offine) from link given "https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/noobs/"

4.Extract the download Noobs(zip file) and copy the whole content inside noobs folder  to formatted SD card.

5.Insert SD card in raspberry pi 3 in power off mode.

Step 2 - Connect devices to raspberry pi 3

1.Connect Desktop to raspberry pi 3 with help of HDMI cable.

2.Connect Mouse and Keyboard to raspberry pi 3

Step -3 Installing Raspbian OS

1.Power on your raspberry pi 3 , select  and install Raspbian OS.

Step -4 Setup to broadcast your raspberry pi display to your laptop

1.Goto →Strawberry symbol → Preferences → raspberry pi configuration → Interfaces → enabled all interfaces.

2.Install putty from link given "https://www.putty.org/"

3.Install vnc viewer from link given "https://www.realvnc.com/en/connect/download/viewer/"

4.Get IP address of your raspberry pi 3 and follow the instruction shown in video

   (default _user_name -"pi" and password -"raspberry" )

5.Now start putty goto → ssh → x11 → enable auto forwarding , goto → session and enter your raspberry pi ip in host box and putty terminal will open log in as default user name and password(pi and raspberry).

6.Now open your vnc viewer and enter the raspberry pi ip and log in with default user name and password, it will take you to desktop screen.
